The funeral home in Friend opened in 1927 in a downtown location, later moving to 308 Maple Street, 720 2nd Street and 508 Maple Street before the new funeral home was build in 1966 at the current location of 814 Maple Street.  This facility has a chapel that will seat 125 with a private family area.  A covered garage is available for family autos during a funeral service.  A large parking lot is located on the east side of the funeral home.  Friend is located on Highway 6 about 45 miles southwest of Lincoln and is easily reached from Interstate 80.  It is 12 miles south of interchange #369.
