Gerald J. "Gary" Eberspacher was born June 2, 1952, in Seward, Nebraska to James and Reva (Matzke), Eberspacher, the second of three of children and went to his heavenly home on Monday, August 5, 2019, at his home in Milford, Nebraska at the age of 67.

As a young boy, he attended a country school near Seward and later became a 1970 graduate of Milford High School.  He explored the idea of college, taking Ag classes, later attending Columbus Junior College, taking art history classes and participating with Coach Bargen’s basketball team.  He furthered college at Chadron State College and later met Debbie Haverkamp and were united in marriage on August 17, 1973 in Rapid City, SD.  To this union a daughter, Jamie Ann, and a son, Brad William were born.  Together they lived in Chadron, Grand Island, Milford, Hagler, Nebraska and back to Milford in 1978.  First, Gary farmed then followed the harvest custom route for a year.  He later was employed as a field supervisor for Rain and Hail Crop Insurance Company.  Although Gary still wanted to farm and work part-time, his health forced him to do otherwise.  Gary enjoyed spending time in his yard, mowing and irrigating their lawn with utmost perfection.  He also loved snow removal.  Not only his own driveway, but others down his street and throughout town.  In 2005, Gary discovered a new hobby of researching his family’s genealogy.  His favorite project was authoring a book, consisting of documenting 100 years of family farm equipment.

Survivors include his wife, Deb, Milford,  daughter and son-in-law, Jamie and Aaron Burd, Severance, CO, son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Kelle Eberspacher, Vista, CA, one granddaughter, Abby Burd, Severance, CO, sisters and brother-in-law, Sharon Farrar, Brighton, CO, Beverly and Jim Michal, Flagler, CO and a special sister, Lori Ann Moline, Grand Rapids, MI, many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
