Virginia “Ginny” Lee Willis was born October 2, 1946, in Passaic, New Jersey, to Lee and Ella (Wyatt) Willis, the oldest of three children and passed away Thursday, August 8, 2019, at Crestview Care Center in Milford at the age of 72.

As a young girl, Ginny attended Gibbon Public School and graduated with the class of 1964.  She furthered her education by attending Kearney State College briefly before moving to Denver where she met her husband, Don Stibolt.  To this union two sons were born, Adam and Jarrod.  After living in Scottsdale, AZ and Oceanside, CA, she returned to Grand Island where she raised her boys and continued to work as an administrative assistant.   Soon after Adam and Jarrod graduated, Ginny moved to Lincoln where she worked for Lincoln Area Aging Services where she planned various events.  In 2005, she moved to Omaha where she resided until she suffered a stroke in 2014.  Most recently, she resided at Crestview Care Center in Milford where she received loving care from the staff.  Throughout her life, Ginny enjoyed following the Denver Broncos and Nebraska Cornhuskers, listening to Elvis Presley and Bill Chrastil and most importantly, spending time with her grandchildren and nieces.

Leaving behind and always in their hearts are her sons, Adam Stibolt, Grand Island, and Jarrod Stibolt and Jamie Sass, both of Omaha, three grandchildren, Jacob Stibolt, Ella Stibolt, and  Hayden Stibolt, a sister and brother-in-law, Michele and Roger Kontor, Milford, nieces, Andrea, Ashley and Kaitlin Kontor and Angela O’Connell, a nephew, Jason Willis and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, James.
