Danny L. Troyer was born June 20, 1951 to Milton and Betty (Stutzman) Troyer in Friend, NE and passed away Monday, April 25, 2022 in Seward, NE at the age of 70.
Dan grew up on the family farm and attended Milford Public Schools, graduating in 1969. Following graduation, he attended Hesston College where he received a business degree. Dan was seen by many as a “rock” and it’s no surprise that he found his vocation operating Troyer Concrete for over 40 years, working with his sons Ben and Trent and his brother Joe.
Dan loved spending time with family, friends and especially his grandkids. He had a gift for helping others and didn’t know a stranger. He lived life so he could offer what he had to others through many acts of kindness, and his legacy will be carried on by his children and others. Like his parents, Dan was devoted to the Milford Mennonite Church where he served in various leadership roles over the years.
Dan enjoyed playing golf and was a charter member of Thornridge Golf Course in Milford. He enjoyed bowling and played on many leagues through the years. He was also a volunteer firefighter/EMT with the Milford Volunteer Fire department.
